4 lane drag strip

They could put a round about at the end and have them come back and make the
start line a start finish line. What a concept.

That was done in early 60's. Tried it once at Connecticut Dragway,
using very narrow lanes, it was a fiasco. State Police stopped it.

It's Bruton Smiths new track. I think he's talked about running
sportsman cars 4 at a time. In Nitro classes it would come in handy
if one side got oiled down or for just speeding up the event by
alternating lanes.

Actually that opens up some serious possibilities!!

Imagine an 8 lane track?

Run 8 Nitro cars together!! Possibly a round robin competition where
everyone gets to run 4 or 5 times??

I am only saying this tongue in cheak guys!!!
